So how do you know what we are about? Why not do what lots of York residents and visitors do? Come and visit us at one of our stalls. We have: lots of information – always; Fair Trade crafts – sometimes; Fair Trade cakes and goodies (plus their recipes) – often. We are good at meeting people and answering questions about Fair Trade.
Here are some of the stalls we have had already this year.
May 10th: Parliament Street as part of the Fair Trade Market to celebrate World Fair Trade Day. Music and information.
June 15th – part of the splendid Tour de Tang Hall day. Lots of good artwork from our young visitors.
June 21st Canon Lee Fayre: a great chance to sell Fair Trade goodies and meet the folk from the Canon Lee catchment area.
July 6th Naburn Station: a great chance to celebrate Le Grand Depart of Le Tour de France
Getting there was fun too….
25th September, Denham Room, Priory Street Centre as part of our Public Debate and AGM
8th November at the Unitarian Chapel, St Saviourgate, York – the Multicultural Market. Come and join us and do some early Christmas shopping.
