For once York Fair trade Forum’s stall found itself in sun and blue skies – but this time the main enemy was the wind, which decided to play havoc with our information leaflets! Hundreds of local people were at this popular community event on Sunday 28 June, with many popping in to say hello, try our Fair trade baking and learn more about York as a Fairtrade city. We had a stash of our window/car stickers available – if you haven’t yet got one, look out for them at future events. Thanks to Laurie Prime of York Yoga Studios for sheltering us during the brief shower, and to the Friends of West Bank Park for organising this great event.
